There are many possibilities for commissioned paintings by Gabriëlle Westra: children, grandchildren, friends, to celebrate (jubilee, anniversary, wedding), to say fare well or to honor someone special.
Procedure
After a meeting to get acquainted, in which we discuss the possibilities, we make (an appointment for) a photoshoot, at location or in my studio. I choose which photo is most suitable for a painted portrait. Then I start with the design and mail you a sketch before starting the painting. Mostly I finish a portrait in oilpaint in 3-4 weeks. During the process you can make an appointment to watch the progress.
